Every patient, every service and every shilling, on one system.

K-Afya connects your reception, cash office, consultation rooms, laboratory, pharmacy, stores and accounts. Services are billed the moment they are ordered, stock is accounted for, and your MOH reports are ready when you need them.

Where facilities lose money, and how K-Afya closes the gap

Most revenue leaks happen between departments: a test done but not billed, a drug issued but not paid for, a payment received but never recorded. K-Afya connects the departments so nothing falls through.

Services that are never billed

Every consultation, test, procedure and drug is invoiced automatically when the clinician orders it. Nobody has to remember to raise a bill.

Tests and drugs released before payment

The laboratory can post results and the pharmacy can dispense only after the bill is paid, or charged to an approved account such as insurance, SHA or staff.

Payments that do not reach the books

M-PESA and bank payments post straight into K-Afya and the accounts. Each cashier’s collections are reconciled at day close.

Stock that disappears

Every unit is tracked from purchase order to receiving, transfer and dispensing. Adjustments need a reason and leave a record.

Changes nobody can explain

Every sign-in, order, payment, reversal and edit is recorded against the user who made it, with the date and time.

Follow the patient, not the paperwork

A patient is registered once. From then on, each department picks up where the last one left off, and everything they do lands in one medical record and one set of accounts.

  1. 1

    Registration

One record and a unique patient number for life.

  5. 5

    Lab and pharmacy

Results back to the doctor; drugs dispensed and stock updated.

  6. 6

    Accounts

Income, stock and expenses posted to the ledger automatically.
